every lost life is sad.....but 2200 since 03' .....the loss of life is nothing compared to past wars. One must also not forget that 3000 Americans were killed in a single day on sept 11th.....

Torture of prisoners worse than the Saddam Era.
thats a joke right? ....maybe you should read up on justice under mr Hussein before making comments like that.

Yes, "even the Democrats have abandonded Cindy Sheehan" - what a silly ninnie you are ["zoofer"?] .

The Dems are the SAME - we saw that 6 or 8 years ago - Dems and Republicans are THE SAME.

America's "2Party system" is a huge JOKE!!!!!!!!! You can vote for one , or the other, they have their people in both places, DUH!!!!

Cindy would build a NEW world, one where what the people really want will be instilled, not the desires of corporate America. Nobody replys to that though. Can't you "imagine" anything anymore? TV did that to us I think....

--------
Well we certainly have some media-minions here, brainwashed to the hilt, believing Iraq is better off for the USA invasion, what a stark departure from reality!!

My Goodness those people are suffering now, and yes the torture is just as bad as under Saddam over there and where USA is holding Arabs.

They are dying from their tortures - how can it have been worse under Saddam?

I have to ask myself "How would her son feel regarding his mother's actions." My husband served in Bosnia during the heat of the battle, if he had become a causualty I would not of blamed the government. Would it be fair to the people of Iraq to just abandon them now? Terrorism is real and Canada is at risk also, I do not believe these far fetched ideas that the US is doing this for greed. If we can put a man on the moon why can't someone design an alternate fuel source.
Sassylassie

I just saw your post today - days after you wrote it - but I wanted to thank you for your husband's service to his country.

Military families often seen and appreciate things others don't and I am sure you went through the whole list of questions: "Why us?" and "Why should we take this on?"

And yet you did it, you and your husband, regardless. For this sacrifice you made I thank you humbly and sincerely.

When there are men and women on the ground armed with weaponry....it is far too late to ask questions. Save it for when they are all back home safely. Then we can see where we are wrong. Not right now.

Someone not only claiming there is "a truth", but also claims she has the only one to offer, is either very stupid - or very smart (and frightening).

interesting. I've not seen that quote of her's but if she said it, I'd think it was pretty stupid. But politicians say stupid things all the time *shrugs* and she's merely an anti war protester

The democratic party want the throne - especially the Clintons - so the party as a whole have appointed pitbulls to say all the nasties so the majority of the dems can stay at "high tide" and immune to criticism.

Mother Sheehan.....Howard Dean.....and Jimmy Carter..... are the pitbulls. They can say the most tasteless things because they have nothing to lose and understand that is why they are in the spotlight ... for their unthinkable behavior.

I repeat...as long as there are young men and women serving in that sand pit....they should shut up with the ugly politics.

It's like airing filthy laundry for the whole world.
