Windows 7 and GMail

Anyone else having problems with Windows 7 and GMail?
It works fine on my other PCs and if I use FireFox to access it...

Can't send any mail or access my address book with IE although I can access the inbox and the reply function works...
Seems to have happened since the last windows update...

The only fix I could find was to add Gmail as an imap account to my windows live mail ....It actually works better for me...I can check both my northern tel sympatico and GMail accounts at the same time.

I'ts funny you should just mention this, but the new compatability wiew update from Microsoft this morning seems to have fixed it.....also the the youtube and facebook problems I've been having have been fixed.
