I am finally getting around to exploring the world of Internet TV and that got me wondering, Who provides the fastest Internet service in the Vancouver area?
I suppose it comes down to Telus or Shaw. So whose service is faster? My own (limited) experience seems to indicate that Shaw is faster; when I go to a local Internet cafe, pages load almost instantaneously compared to Telus' top-of-the-line service. However, I don't want to jump to a conclusion based on a single experience.
To further confuse matters, a co-worker of mine claims that the closer you are located to Telus' facilities (I think it is in the Kingsway/Willingdon area in Burnaby), the faster the service is. Anybody in these forums have any experiences they'd like to share indicating the preferred service for enjoying Internet TV or watching movies via the Internet?
