I have windows vista on my computer and i have a problem with downloading for the internet. I hav on problem with browsing the web, but as soon as i try to download something,the computer shuts down.The internet explorer icon just disappeared from the desktop.Can someone please help me with this.I would really appreciate it.

You need Firefox. Download it and use it instead of Internet Explorer. It is much safer and more stable for web browsing.
