no horizontal scroll bar

I have IE 6 and just noticed that my horizontal scroll bar is missing. I need it often to move the page to view the missing section. The side ones are there.

I have almost the same computer and I don't currently have a horizontal scroll bar either.......but at the moment I don't need it. I use Firefox as opposed to I.E.but I don't think that is a problem. I've switched to other sites and occasionally that scroll bar comes back. I don't think it is anything serious. You might check on the control panel, display, and settings. You can move the resolution adjustment down a peg or two to see if that makes a difference.

Is it a problem because he/she is using the 800 x 600 screen resolution?

On mine the horizontal scroll bar appears only for example someone posts a picture that is too big for the screen.....

It also won't appear too often if you have a wide screen LCD monitor or notebook...........
