Are you talking about Telephones, Cell Phones, Intermet? I prefer Bell for all 3. I have a burning hatred for all things Rogers.

Have used Shaw for a number of years now. Used Telus before that. I'm sure I must have used Bell at some point but it must have been some time ago.

The crazy thing I don't understand is Bell was the pioneer in telephone service in Canada (probably North America) but Rogers can use their infrastructure. Does Rogers pay a royalty to Bell??

rogers doesn't use Bell's copper network, they do a hybrid voip within their cable network and it is then transfered via fiber to wherever the calls needs to go.

Regarding Bell's infrastructure, the CRTC ruled they have to share it with other companies, although they do have to pay. That's why you see all these cheap long distance companies & 3'rd party ADSL ISP's.
