i want to download a movie from google video ?

i want to know if it is possible to somehow download a movie from google video, into a burnable format like mpg,avi, i did press the download button on the left ,but it only saves it on the google video that i have on my destop.and in my file it's there but under some wierd format , and it's only 1k big.it does not give me anything to work with .

i would like to able to get it under a format like mpg,avi, so i can make copies of that movie.

can any body help. thanks

I just click the "download" button on the Google page and my Konqueror web browser asks me where I want to save the video's .avi file. Simple.

Of course, I'm running a Linux desktop, so things like this are always simple.

You can download the Google player here
http://video.google.com/playerdownload

You'll probably need to convert them if you want them in another format

i did download it and now i got mp4 format but i have to convert it to avi or mpg . did any one ever conver a mp4 file ,if yes what sofware did you download?
