Using A Router?

How many of you use a router and what speeds do you get useing it on the speed tests?
I currently get 1.9megs although 3meg is what i was promised what can be done here to improve too 2.5 because I used tobe at that.

also.... does anyone here use vif I'm looking for dns server #'s the web site has these as there only servers.
Primary DNS: 216.239.64.154
Secondary DNS: 216.239.64.155
If I had different ones my QoS would maybe improve i was hopeing for a third thats why I ask.

I use a router regularly, never checked it for speed though. It cuts, does what it's supposed to...........

Yes, I do use a router, I have a 2.5HP DeWalt that goes like hell. Now I am sure this will help to answer your question!!!
