antivirus programs and others can generally detect keyloggers. There are some specialty programs as well. Going ot google and typing " detect keylogger" will be a good start.

Most antispyware programs detect things like that.

I use Spybot Search & Destroy, Adaware, and Microsoft Defender

Adaware is free, but not all adware programs will detect all keyloggers.

Try this link it lists some programs.

http://www.thefreecountry.com/securi...eremoval.shtml

http://www.blazingtools.com/antispy.html

Did you know that keyloggers can be downloaded onto you computer via ecards, and other email without you knowing?

I learned a lot over the last little while, my compter was being remotely accessed for how long, and had no idea.

It's good to try a couple of different programs, not ever program will catch ever spyware.

Another good free program that I totally suggest is http://www.winpatrol.com Scotty the internet watch dog is a great program to leave running in the backgroud.

go to hijackthis.com

they deal with all sorts of stuff that things like adaware and such dont pick up. thing is their software only logs what's in your registry and so on... then u post the log on their forum and they tell u how to get rid of it, eg by using adaware in safe mode and then deleting files x y and z. they've always helped me out with some pretty well hidden stuff. I am confident even if u had some pretty top notch spyware on your computer they'd know something was up.
