Anyone know about those TV tuners cards for a pc? I know you can watch tv on your pc with them but can you record what you watch onto your HDD? And then burn it onto dvd later?
I've gone to the local pc shops but they don't know.

Anyone ?? Bueller??

I know they are popular products here in Germany. The local stores are all stocked up with them. They are available, however, for a different reason: they are capable of receiving terrestrial high definition television programs and also, you get tons of free local channels with cable which you can catch with your TV-tuner card.

My best suggestion would be to check ebay.. the descriptions will have the best info and you can also purchase them there.

Good luck!

Yes, you just use a splicer and run the cable to your card. You can take still pictures or record video just like a vcr. Works great.

How the hell can a local PC shop not know that? I would never go there again.
