Can anyone recommend a nice utility to lock folders or password drives?

I share a computer so it would be nice to know that my private stuff is safe..

What OS are you using?

If you are using 2k or XP with different login accounts you can keep your stuff private that way. If you are linux it's too simple, just keep your file and folder privledges set correctly. If you are on a shared PC you could always install PGP (Pretty good privacy) and encrypt folders or files. Just a few ideas for you... Cheers

Hi..
I'm trying to choose between PGP (pgp.com) which is more famous, i think.. and CryptArchiver (winencrypt.com)
which I searched from Google.
Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Hmm, Windows98 isn't that great for multiple users and security is it =) I would probably suggest the PGP solution then. As I mentioned, it can be a bit slow with the encrypting and decrypting, but at least your stuff will remain private. You can encrypt entire folders, single files, and it also has a shredder, which will delete your file, and overwrite the harddrive with ones and zeros a bunch of times after you delete, to ensure it can't be recovered (easily).
