Just a little observation. Tons of people still use Yahoo! for everything when it comes to the world wide web.

What was once the most comprehensive content portal is now a mirror of google when it comes to search technology. And the rest is just third party duplicates!

Why use Yahoo to search when you have google with "no advertising"? Saying they dont show ads is a lie, but they arent intrusive imho.

I notice its not up to date though.

What I mean is that you can have two posting on a site with the same key words, but it will not show you the most recent posting.

Example: Put key words in a title on this site which someone else has used before. It will pull up the old one, but not the new one.

Anyone else notice this

Do not worry... We will soon be using Microsoft's search engine in a few years... Bill is the king of 'I will take what you made and make it better' He tried to buy google but google told Bill to go away...

Google used 30x more on my site than Yahoo!

When looking at my web logs I noticed something scarey. Google was used 30x more that yahoo!

It wasn't a multiple of 2 or 3 but 30! I guess yahoo better do something to make their interface easier to use or else it'll show in their advertising rates.

Yahoo, maybe you should create overture words eh? :D

I googled pretty+woman and it came up with you LuShes! :p jk

ROFL...well I have no tatties or pericings yet...so I think I will keep it that way...I don't favor the idear of being 80 with strange tatoos all over me and giving the morticians a good laugh at my burial, lol.

And from what I hear, from the grape vine...my car is being branded with canadian contents website on the back *raises a brow at andem and shmad*

I used to use altavista to search, then I used yahoo for a week, and I was like, omg what is this *^%#*$($% so I switched to google...

I'LL PROVE YOU PPL WRONG :D

So a 1985 chevette with Canadiancontent.net posted on the back would be freakin hilarious.

It would look pretty cool on the back of my new Passat :) Black coat with CanadianContent.net in white incorporating logo. http://www.canadiancontent.net/images/cc_alzflg.gif

Shmad and LuShes have a ford escort, so it's far from an 85 chevette.

By the way.. Back onto topic:

Yahoo! is no longer using Google's search index as they've switched over to their own search engine they're developing from the competitors they bought out: Overture, Alta Vista, Fast/Alltheweb. So Google is powering tons of other sites now, anyways. Some including: AOL, Netscape, Washington Post, Google.com ofcourse, Canoe, and tons and tons of other sites including iWon!

Google all the way... yahoo is clogged up and so I love that simple no frills design Google has going on. All the rest of them are refusing to go simple like google, and that is a reason why google is so successful.

Until Google is bought out, by Yahoo or someone like Microsoft, forget it.. I'm staying there.
