As I posted before...this new laptop with windows eight was giving me trouble with uploading to Youtube with explorer so I used Firefox instead.
I've had Firefox browsers in other PCs before and I have Firefox portable on a usb stick for when I travel and use other PCs, simply because it carries all my bookmarks and doesn't leave anything on the other person's PC.
This time, I copied the Firefox folder from the stick to my documents, and put a shortcut on my taskbar and I'm using Firefox as a stand alone application instead of a program?
It's certainly faster than using from a usb stick and it seems faster than the regular Firefox on my other PC.
Has anyone else ever tried that?
