Global temperatures have plummeted more than 0.5C this year

Thank god. I thought Global warming was a real thing for a second, but Steve Goddard, some goofy twat on twitter, has set the record straight.
Actually, it can be easily explained. Previous periods of global warming also had global drops in temps as the warming proceeded. What happens is, as more glacier meltwater and more arctic ice melts, the ocean temps temporarily cool down which in turn lowers global temps. But like I said, it's only temporary. However, depending on the rate of cooling, what can also happen is surprising. You get what is called a "Heinrich Event", where over the course of a decade, global temps can drop by an average of 5C. These types of events can, although not necessarily, reverse a warming trend.
From previous eras of factory over production of cars for example around a thousand AD, to later incidents of intense hydrocarbon fueled production of plastics in the early 18oo's, Man made Global warming has dogged the human race throughout history...
Not to be confused with the Heinrich Maneuver wherein an ecolobby forces the naive and unwitting to 'cough-up' large sums of money to support a non-existent phenomenon such as climate change or global warming

They also promote a cold spot in the Atlantic but neither is above a rift so could Arctic rifts be spreading and the rising warmer water pushes the water just under the ice away and in this case the two exits are into the Pacific and the Atlantic between Greenland and Canada.
The 'cold' spot could be just colder than it was last year but still warmer than it was a decade ago and the Pacific Rift could be spreading even faster if dead things are a sign of rapid change at the oceans deepest parts. Faster currents would mix the water better so it would appear cooler in some spots, it should be cooler in all spots but that doesn't seem to be the case. Does it now become variable climate change??
In this context, references to global warming/climate change are presumed to be human driven... it's not as if we talk about gravity and human-induced-gravity

Thankfully interglacial periods are extremely stable. Worrying about it ending should be the real fear.
