Taking the bible literally is as nutty as your avatar. It was and is a metaphor for life. It is based on the mythologies of Sumer, Egypt, Babylon and Assyria (possibly Hindu texts). Taken literally, it is not much more than a bad horror story.

You remind me of the obese person who refuses to get on the scale. Admitting to the sinful nature is indeed a difficult pill to swallow but hey, would you rather die from the disease or admit to the cure?

Now why is it that those that Git religion lower themselves to insult those that have other Religious beliefs.

I really dont care if people choose to read the Bible (Old or New), Quran, or Torah. We are all free to do as we please with our minds and lives. If someone feels that they have found the answers to the questions they are asking in a bible, then iam happy for those people because they are getting what they want out of life.
