True, but remember, it was God inspired.

I gotta say this because by being God inspired it only means that God's intelligent design, is what keeps mankind guessing or wanting to discover something of God's wisdom.

I can tell you right now, that the whole bible, thou written by man is so well connected that clues are all in the details.

Patterns are repeatedly given, similitudes are repeatedly given, numbers are multiplied and repeatedly given.
I'm telling you, mankind's intelligence could not have placed all that together as it is.

Come on now AJ, Leviticus, in the OT. The book that lays out the Laws for the Jewish people. It's in the Bible. Is it also Gods words? Gods Laws? "Inspired" by God?

Of course I know that, but what something special can you tell me about it that you singled it out?
I can show you where the book of Job is inspired, where the statue of Nebuchadnezzar is inspired and so forth.
They are all tied in together like pieces to a giant puzzle which paints a beautiful picture.

It's a simple question, requires a simple answer. Is the book of Laviticus inspired by God? Is it a book of laws laid down by God's devine will? Since you have already agreed and stated that the ENTIRE Bible was inspired by God then I am assuming that you also feel that the book of Leviticus also is. If that is the case, we'll delve a little deeper into it. If that is NOT the case, then we will then travel down that road.

Then why are "Gods" laws not upheld today? Leviticus 20:10, :18

Sorry AJ....we will have to continue this at another time. It's been a long time since I went over the OT and I need more time than I have available to me tonight.

I will say this though. I feel SOME parts of the Bible have devine intervention. Others are self serving and I do not feel are Gods words. This applies to both OT and NT. The books were chosen and put together by man, with all of mans prejudices.

We must remember, just because someone SAYS the are speaking for God, does not make it so. David Koresh, Charlie Manson, Rev. Jim Jones, all professed to doing "God's" work.

I understand, but within that human inefficiency, God placed His wonderful design to be sought out.

If you recall reading about the beginning where God says, the world was without form and void, well there is a spiritual message in that, in that the world was without and form or salvation, and void of any means to save self, and then light, meaning knowledge of God, comes into the world of darkness (void of knowledge of god) and brings salvation.

Yes, the levitical priesthood was a picture perfect Christ that was to come, and when He did come, it ended that priesthood as it was and He became our High priest.
