A southern Indiana minister who preaches against homosexuality was accused of soliciting gay sex at a park.


Gaylard Williams, pastor of Praise Cathedral Church of God in Seymour, was charged with battery after a man said he grabbed his genitals last week at Cypress Lake.


A man parked at the lake Dec. 12 said the 59-year-old Williams asked him to roll down his vehicle window, then reached in and squeezed his genitals and offered to perform oral sex.


He said Williams fled, but he wrote down his license plate number and called police.


Officers said Williams had gay adult material in his vehicle when they stopped him later.


His church teaches that same-sex marriage is sinful and urges congregants to “glorify God in our body and which avoid the fulfillment of the lust of the flesh.”

I'm thinking that the appreciation is lacking and justifiably so because you don't grab mens junk in a lecherous manner in your off time and spew homophobic gibberish in a position of authority during your working hours.

If God did not intend a mans ***** to be easily grabbed and suckled he would have designed it different. The pastors actions would not constitute sexual assault. It might be deemed unlicensed pastoral solicitation.

Hard to see how the victim could charge the pastor with sexual assault when it is the pastor that ends up with a mouthful of the victims semen. By your logic Bill Crosby can charge all those 30 plus women with sexual assault because like the pastor they all ended with his semen in their mouth.

There might be several reasons why the pastor fled. He might have recognized the man. And there might be several reasons why the man called the cops on the pastor other than no reason to call since the pastor fled. The man felt spiritually rejected and rudely interrupted.
