How do we eliminate `Roo breaking idiocy?`.
How about a record number of children knowing that the sky is really blue?
How about the record number of soldiers who didn't/don't know where Viet Nam was or The Gulf or Iraq or Iran?
Why a record number of people don't know why the hatred and anger and fighting and killing keeps going on in the Middle East?
Or the record number of children that die each and every day and it is not their fault?

You can't set a record for farthest distance teleported if the teleporter doesn't exist. You can't set a record for the most powerful working cold fusion reactor if there isn't one. There may never be records for these things.

The question by CBC is stupid. How about the record number of stupid questions asked in one day by the CBC news poster here? Oh wait, I'm pretty sure that record has already been set.
