As the stars of The Dark Knight strode down a black carpet in New York for the film's world premiere Monday, one name was on everybody's lips: Heath Ledger. Ledger, who died of an accidental drug overdose in January at the age of 28, stars in the film as Batman's nemesis, The Joker.
The Dark Knight opens across North America on Friday, with some industry sources speculating that interest in the film could help it set new opening weekend records.
