Marijuana should be removed from the list of drugs banned in sport, one of Canada's top drug testing officials said, because it is taking time and resources away from catching the real cheaters in sport.

It's never made sense to me why they would put so much effort into keeping a performance hindering drug out of sports. If someone wants to screw with their chemistry in a way which risks poorer performance, is that really anyone's concern but their own?

I played high school soccer high on pot. Played much better in fact. Even if you call it placebo, doesn't having a better morale, or believing you can do more not worth it? If morale is meaningless, there is very little we need coaches for.
