An Afghan child was shot and killed Wednesday when NATO forces opened fire on a car they believed was a threat.

That is very sad, and I feel very sorry that it happened, a child who won't ever be able to "live" his life.

I'm sure in every conflict throughout the years, these awful deaths have taken place.

It is expected, as it would be amazing if a complete war went from beginning to end without innocent
civilians including children losing their lives. The soldier who was responsible for the childs death will
go through the rest of his life never forgetting the incident, so it will effect his life forever as well.
All of the conflicts in the world are a miserable example of how the human race just can't seem to
accept each other, live together in peace. I am an older person, and I remember these kinds of tragedys
happening all through my life, and it continues, and I'm sure it will not change, and that's too bad.
