"The allegations are numerous and include fraud, extortion, obtaining benefits by false pretences and involvement in prostitution," Novak wrote in a letter dated April 9, 2010.

Hamilton raised allegations of "Jaffer and Guergis on tape, partying with hookers and doing cocaine" and that "not only does Helena tolerate Jaffer hanging out with, with escorts, and prostitutes, but there's apparently video of her snorting cocaine off the breasts of a prostitute."

All untrue, she was booted from caucus and the party while Bev (let's change a leagal document) Oda keeps her job.

I wonder if she will recieve an apology.

She will be on air today at 11 with a response.

Want to review the past???

How about a Liberal gov't in Ottawa?

An alleged mafia "made man" not only in the caucus, but in the cabinet!!!

The President of the Liberal Party in Quebec so afraid of Liberal "connections" that he refused to testify in front of the Gomery Commission without police protection.

Not much wonder, as one of those "connections" had his car explode in his driveway when he remotely started it.....in July.

The Prime Minister engaged in business deals with arsonists.

The PM using the RCMP as his own personal Gestapo to persecute those who stood in the way of the above below-board deals.

The PM's chief of staff directing RCMP operations while breaking up peaceful protests at the APEC summit.

I could go on and on and on and on and on.......but let me make it simple.....compared to the last Liberal gov't, Harper's Conservatives are a shinning example of truth and honesty.

And Harper was trying to prevent corruption and scandal......you don't see THAT from the Liberals.

Or why do you think Harper did it??

A political party, being a private entity, is free to accept or refuse whomever it wants within its membership within the constraints of the law.

That said, granted, it does reveal something of the party's principles and of those who would choose to join it.

We can say something similar about the Liberal candidate in Quebec who'd made derogatory remarks about First nations. While the party is certainly free to turf him, the fact that the party leader and not the local riding association turfed him suggests a pretty centralized and controlled command structure in the Liberal Party too, not to mention that there is no record of whether the candidate in question had ever recanted his previous comments. He he hadn't, this would not reveal a party leader particularly open to forgiveness and personal redemption. In the end, the local constituents should decide, not some party leader, as to whether he becomes their Mp. Though again in principle the party is free to accept or turf whomever it wants.

What does this have to do with the Liberals?

Trying to prevent corruption by keeping Oda and throwing Guergis under the bus based on........facts? I think not.

Do you suppose she will recieve an apology or be invited back in?

Remember....stay focuses...this is about the current government....not the Liberal one.

It's okay, look the other way and keep sending your wittle checks.

You side-stepped the question.

Harper saw her and her husband as loose cannon, involved in questionable activities........about to do the gov't harm by creating a lobbying and ethics scandal, so he was proactive..........

Unless you have another explanation.

Proof?

Still Oda keeps her job....with proof.

You even said she should have lost her position in cabinet.

He reacted to what he thought was going on.....not just a temporary suspension either to find out what was going on.....he threw her right under the bus before any investigation was completed.

I wonder if he even took her aside and asked for an explanation?

Considering it was all BS, do you think she will recieve an apology or be invited back in?

Let's see what she says this morning, after she snorts some coke off a protitutes tits.

Just saw her press conference from under the bus.

What a disgrace Harper is.

She didn't even run the Liberals she stood her ground as a conservative....brave woman indeed.

She deserves an apology at minimum, Harper basically attempted to ruin her political career and reputation. It surprises me that she continues to vote along side the conservatives...

As she just explained she has been a conservative her whole life.

You can't expect her to abandon those ideals because the leader of the party is a vindictive power hungry tool.

She even said she would like to come back to the party under a different leader.

No question in my mind that if she were running in my riding I'd be voting for her.

Now the question is does that piece of garbage apologize or bring out the well funded smear machine.

I'm not doubting her political convictions, it's a matter of spite in a case like this. I would have a hard time supporting a leader/party that attempted to ruin me.

It's what makes her better, not throwing your principles out the door to join a party you don't share values with.

I never said she should join another party, but she could make Harper's life difficult, especially in cases where passage of bills comes down to single digits votes needed

She might, but I think she already has made his life difficult.

Again though, if she agrees with the legislation which she more than likely will she will vote as a conservative.

Bruce Carson has five fraud convictions......fired?

Nope, part of Harpers inner circle.

What a joke this turd is.

Now I realize why politicians don't go to jail for being the scam artists they are...

You'll never find a jury that won't be biased by partisanship.

Bruce Carson.....convicted....5 times of fraud.....welcomed into the inner circle.

Bev Oda.....convicted of changing a legal document.....keeps job.

Guergis.....accussed of crimes....cleared....thrown under the bus.

Not to mention they misled Parliment and were found in contempt.

All this with a minority......and we are going to give them a majority?

Yep, give them a majority, if this is bad you can only imagine how bad the other guys are, the Libs never did give back that $ 40 million they stole from the tax payers!

What does that have to do with a majority conservative government?

I'd like the 50 million the tories spent on that fake lake or the other dough spent in Tony Clements riding leading up to the G8 circus.

$408,000 spent on pretty new road signs.
