Diversity Or Equality

Diversity is the key but diversity is not an ironclad guarantee for positive change. When we level the playing field and everybody is treated equally that is when government will change for the better. Diversity equates to egotistical behaviour or the feeling of being better than the other because of race or heritage.

When total equality comes to society and everybody is judged by his or her deeds and not their genealogy then life will be better.

Here's a simple question:

Why can't you have equality at the same time as diversity?

Or better yet, why does diversity have to some how compromise equality?

Being able to celebrate or recognize our individual diversities, be that cultural, race, spiritual, etc. is not only equal, it also allows for multiple possibilities in improving society or solving social issues by not being constricted to just one popular view or way of life.

The only time Diversity impacts on equality is when one group decides to over step their expression of their diversity and attempt to impose their views on other people's lives who may not share in their views or beliefs...... and this isn't exclusive to minorities as it happens plenty in every group.

Suggesting to remove people's diversity in some way to protect equality is just another attack on our "Liberties"..... and regardless if you think attacking everybody's diversity in an equal fashion is somehow "Equal" in itself..... in the bigger picture, it creates more problems then it solves and is only a means for those in the majority to stop minorities from getting things the majority doesn't think they deserve.

Diversity can be equal and people can and should be able to express, celebrate or practice their diversities in any manner they so choose.... and people should be able to use their diversity to their advantage to society and those around them's benefit if they so choose and asked...... but the moment one person attempts to enforce or impose their diversity and their own way of thinking of things on to others because they think it's their right..... they're over the line.
