it makes her look silly, but really, folks. It's politics. They are all the same.

Maxime Bernier said less, and did less, and he was sacked.

Gerry Ritz was made to apologize for his poor choice of words concerning a peer and listeriosis.

Harper seems content with everything Raitt has done here, which includes: improper handling of sensitive documents, speaking ill of at least two cabinet colleagues, and her judgment in hiring the now "incompetent" assistant.

More than that, the government's handling of Chalk River itself is what I find outrageous. The Government made hay from Linda Keen when she was going to have the reactors shut down for needed upgrades. The Conservatives said that was unacceptable, due to the health concerns of Canadian patients and patients around the world. Quite the contrast to what we have going on now...

Leaving classified documents around is less than making a stupid comment?

Gerry Ritz made his comment in public.

I expect from him tighter muzzles on his caucus, and an iron fist when people are off message, off key, or generally off at all. I'm wondering why he is trying so hard to ignore what I'm sure his gut is telling him to do. Maybe he's concerned about the polls lately?

I'm not sure they have a foot left. Just two bloody stumps of ankle.

The Use of "sexy" seems to have all kinds of meanings and applications.

I am presently reading Tom Clancy-Executive Orders and on page 268 (paperback version.) first line of the 13th Chapter is Quote... "There were tanks in the streets, and tanks were "sexy" things for the "overhead imagery" people to look at and count."

Does this translate to meaning "target" or something to draw attention? So...did she perhaps mean that no one is concerned about all the details to produce Radio isotopes until they suddenly are not available. As in... someone else can worry about the handling of Urainium ore, and having a re-actor in their backyard with all the possible dangers...just don't think of building one in my neighbourhood. Out of site and out of mind...just keep the Daam thing running and producing in case I get cancer and need the isotopes but make sure it does not cost me any Tax money & I don't want to hear about the problems.

So now the Government is giving a definite date for closure of the Chalk River plant. So maybe the health community will have to make a deal with North Korea.
