Rate now we elect our MPs, they run to Ottawa and table and vote on issues.

I have a better idea.

We keep the current system, and we elect ruling parties, and MPs, and their main purpose is to debate and put forth legislation.

Now with the age of computers 99% of society has easy access to an internet connection.

So, I say we develop a secure, super-secure, program called "VOTE" that is connected to the internet through 1 stream access only.

Then each month all the issues debated and put forth in the house, are voted on. Their willl be a short summary and everyone has access to a computer, and then votes for it.

Then we can truly decide all the issues.

This would also mean no more senate.

The main issue is security and annomynous factor.

But I think if we wanted to, this could become a reality.

Greece did it, but it was on a smaller scale.

We have a vast nation.

But why cant our technology duplicate what Greece had for our larger scale?

Same could be done for provincial politics, and local politics.

there is such thing as a printer!

Every system can be abused, its trusting the people behind it and the human spirit.
