Wow. You want me to deal with that issue in 1000 words or less? Whole books have been written about it. Anybody who knows me at all will know that subject will immediately draw my most critical attention as a committed and unapologetic admirer of science and reason, but condensing it into 1000 words... Well, I'm working on it. I may or may not be able to get back to this thread on it. But in the meantime I'll express my complete support for everything Tonington wrote, and state that my instinct would be to award the prize right now and close the thread.

Hi Dexter. These are article sized. I think if we set no limits then most of us would be overwhelmed with having to read or write novels. I realize it's hard to condense the history of evolution into 1000 words but I'm confident you can. ;) I didn't say it would be easy. We'll have other topics introduced that will have a more narrow focus. I realize Tonington went to town on the evolution side, although he left the door open for the creationists. I hope you do toss in your thoughts on the topic. It would also be interesting to see someone take the Creation side.

Actually Curiosity if you can find it ...it used to be on the NASA site..

Spiders in "zero-G" do some amazing things!

You believe what you believe and as long as your beliefs don't require that everyone else believe what you believe everything is er well just Kosher...

Merry Christmas Curio

Thanks MikeyDB

Merry Christmas and Joys of the Season to you and yours!

Didn't know that about spiders at zero G - thanks - will have to do some looking up.

About anyone agreeing with me? I came from a large family of eight kids - agreement was a rarity!

Well, just about anything that gets discussed in the main content of the forum could be put in the articles/debate forum. The rules would ensure that people could post original thought without being jumped on by some of the other members. Topics like Middle east might be over done, but perhaps some of the spiritual discussions, or science topics like environemnt , kyoto, stem cells. Or maybe we could have a thread where we can vote on forum best of, worst, like best newcomers, most controversial, best thread for the year etc.
