May the real Harperrrrrrrr stand, and may the Canadian voter rethink if Harper disserves a full term in Ottawa.

The prime minister's comments might be seen as a clear warning to public servants thinking of straying from government orthodoxy.

Harper has been criticized for the tight control he wants to exercise on what cabinet ministers and civil servants say in public. He also opposes the Kyoto protocol, which many scientist believe could help slow global warming.

The scientific, or literary, muzzle was put on Tushingham just as the Tory government was preparing to quietly confirm it is killing off over a dozen research programs related to the Kyoto protocol.

Late Thursday afternoon, on the eve of a long weekend when governments traditionally dump bad news for the least possible public exposure, Natural Resources Minister Gary Lunn issued a news release saying 15 programs were being eliminated.

I think what has been happening around the world should be done to encourage the federal governments. That local city governments should retiffy the Kyoto accord.

On the other issue, it's hard to say since puplic servants have to adear to policy.

Hey Finder, the man is under the elusion that Canada never had an iron fist politician or PM and he can't wait to hard promote his iron fist agenda. Only the next 18 months will be the proof in the putting, and given the history of the extreme right we some how get an idea of what the putting will be all about. To bad politics has become an industry of the elite.

No matter how much we may dislike PM Harper and his right wing ways, he, under our FPTP elected government, is PM for now and has the ability to effect such policies. Unelected puplic servants do not have the right to not follow government policy and if they do not are subject to punishment, such as lossing there job. It is our duty as citizens to make sure Harper does not get elected again our change the electoral system.

"Liberty" It appears that is the only sharp knife in the drawer.
