They don't really know how long they have so, better get on with it!

We have Peter Laugheed from ATCO smoozing with Klein and Davis. Getting the inside track I guess. Judge Berger has come out saying the natives in the NWT have an opportunity to get on board on the pipeline and another couple billiions of industry planned for the NWT. Considered these "natives" in the pipeline dispute north do not have political status it will easy for a Federal and TerritorialGovernment to blow them off. Perhaps that's not a bad thing. A veritable whirlwind of activity.

Trick on the Mackenzie valley there are only a few very small spots on the whole length of the river that is level enough to stock pile pipe on. Climate change is making very sure the banks cannot be excavated. It will take a lot of barges to store that amount of pipe and, it won't get to the site required until the ice is off the river. These natives own the only flat property.

Klein will get the rubber stamp for dual medical coverage and there will be no guarantee of universality; nothing in Ottawa to slow them down. Jack Layton is coming out now saying him and Harper have similar goals in various programs. Duceppe is already hard wired into a two tier system. There is no effective opposition on health care!

Last night Ralph spoke to a group of Conservataive Business and like minded people at lenght.

As only Ralph can do it he infered that we are inbread with the US. Our offspring live down there and their offspring live up here.

He continued to say that the Liberals messed up Canadian US relationship and this new crew is going to fix that. I read this to mean we are going to capitiulate on the money owed us on softwood and agree on a common ground on how best to cover up or ignore mad cow problems. Any defense of Canada's interests is seen by Klein and company to be bad for Canada. It was after all the US ambassidor who jumped into the Canadian election, not the other way around.

We can expect environmental approvements to go through in 10 weeks rather than 10 years. Perhaps this is a good thing.

Alberta has set the mould and according to Ralph last night the Federal Conservataives are ready to follow.

There will be an unpresceded increase in industry, yes.

There will be an unprescedented rip off of resouce and downloading of costs to towns and your pockets.

There is no guarantees seniors will be protected in any of this.

We bring in Americans by the bus load to workk in Canada yet to work in the US you have a very major expensive process to go through to move to a job down there. I don't think Harper is of a mind to do anything about this travisty.
