Just heard on radio he died this morning.

No links up just yet, not even at radio station that just broadcast it. Memorial service Monday they said.

That really is too bad. But he hasn't been feeling well for awhile, at least its an end to suffering. He's already gone over the top in assisting with our current political situation. He did his job and he did it well.

Even the radio station www.cknw.com that broke story has yet to put any info up. I also e mailed ctv news and asked why not on web site. He died at 10:02 pdt this morning. Also there will be an official announcement apparently from the RCMP station at 5 pm pacific so maybe newsworld or newsnet will carry it?

Canada has lost one of it's most treasured (and rare) anomolies - a truly decent, caring, hard-working, honest and principled Politician.

Such a shame, he was one of a very few politicans left that's worthy of any respect.

Cadman is the second parliamentarian to die this year, both were around 50 and both had cancer. Makes you wonder whats keeping all of those older men with cancer alive in parliament.

I second that emotion, Chuck Cadman was a rare politician who stood by his principles.
