to be fair, we don't tax inheritances just their earnings
to give credit for that to the current guv
would just not be true doh

The moment a person passes on, the Canada Revenue Agency considers all of that person’s assets part of her estate, and deducts taxes from that estate. That generally means there are no tax ramifications if you inherit part of a loved one’s estate — as it has already been taxed. “In most cases, if you receive an inheritance, tax has been paid and you don’t need to report it as income,” says senior investment advisor John Pacheco, of London, Ontario. “Canada has no inheritance tax, and an estate’s taxes are settled before the remainder is distributed.”

the idea though of taxing carbon just won't be good anywhere it appears, because carbon is not the problem - we are carbon based life forms, so it is a tax on existence
...a global enslavement to the Rothschild bank that trades in that existence tax...
a tax on life - slavery it used to be called

A Rothschild Plan for World Government

Crisis scenarios are the means by which dictators justify control. The most often cited example is Hitler’s “Enabling Act” in the wake of the Reichstag Fire. Another example is the “Patriot Act” in the aftermath of 9/11. Globalist organizations, behind the usual façade of the most idealistic intentions, such as the Club of Rome, have for decades warned of impending planetary doom unless a world control system of inaugurated.

While many of the problems addressed by global control enthusiasts are real, attention is deflected away from the fact of those who are making the suggestions for extensive global controls to deal with problems also happen to be those who created the problems in the first place.

These are the plutocrats who run a de facto globalist control system, whose aim is to turn it into a de jure system.

City of London Corporation Hence, one should raise questions when the oligarchs who run the world financial system draw up world improvement schemes.

One of those in the forefront of exposing such schemes has been Lord Christopher Monckton[1] who has focused on the climate change scenario as part of a world state agenda. Only after threatening a diplomatic incident, Lord Christopher obtained the draft of the Copenhagen treaty that would have imposed an international 2% tax on all financial transactions, a 2% tax on the GDP, and established 700 new United Nations bureaucracies, with the international tax revenue going to the World Bank.

However, the 2009 UN Copenhagen Climate Change Conference ended in disarray without the formal imposition of international taxation and bureaucracy. Lord Monckton stated of the agenda at Copenhagen: “Once again they are desperately trying to conceal from everybody here the magnitude of what they’re attempting to do – they really are attempting to set up a world government.”[2]

It was clerical error according to the article and the funeral home apologized and said the families would be reimbursed.

It was just the funeral home trying to scam a bit more money.

It was an accounting error.

Like the one in Mattawa who buried bodies on the property and filled urns with wood ash?

It's about a carbon tax on cremations, LW............not misuse of human remains. Folks were duly toasted, the families have all the ashes but were upset at the cost of a new carbon tax. The error was found and will be or has been, corrected. Families will be reimbursed.

I remember that story. They put the decimal in the wrong place. As I recall, it was supposed to be a $13 charge, but became $130. Or something similar to this. It was quickly amended.

...and any place that will cheat you in death isn't above playing around with a decimal place in your grief. Beware....
