Yes for the first time in my life we had a manager running the show . Not enough drama for the MSM but was good for the country .
We are now back to what most of my life has seen , political grandstanding and legacies .

He had good and bad points. Not enough transparency and too much trying to be the USA. Good for business and the economy and hard-working taxpayers. All in all I'd give him 60/100. In comparison I wouldn't give any other PM in the last 40 years more than 25/100 with the current moron sitting around 5/100

He was secretive, not personable. Neither trait is becoming of a national leader. I don't think that Harper is very comfortable in his own skin. He originsly went to Ottawa to " clean up Dodge" but it just isn't that simple.

I think he did one hell of a job. Probably had the hardest working minority gov in the history of Canada. I do not expect you to understand.

Sure, but look at the competition....it's not that hard to be first.

That is very, very true.

We simply do not elect great men..........I'm not sure why.

No Washingtons, no Jeffersons, no Lincolns, no Teddy Roosevelts,..........I'm not sure why.

Although the Americans have not elected a great man in the last couple of generations, and I call the current competition Il Duce vs The Sewer.

Within a few years from now when all performance stats get collected, Harper will emerge as one of Canada's greatest PM.

Mark my words!!
