'She has got to go': Kevin O'Leary offers $1M if Notley resigns

Kevin O'Leary made an impassioned plea to Alberta Premier Rachel Notley on Tuesday morning, asking her to step down for the sake of the Canadian economy.

Speaking to Toronto radio station Newstalk 1010, O'Leary offered to invest $1 million in Canadian energy companies if Notley resigns.

"She has got to go," O'Leary said of the provincial NDP leader. "Let me be the first to make that offer."

The Canadian entrepreneur and financial commentator said his offer comes as an individual concerned about the country and the economy. He said the Alberta government is currently "in freefall."

O'Leary said energy companies remain in the dark about potential changes to royalties, as a panel looking into what the province charges the industry has yet to release its findings. In the meantime, the NDP government has raised corporate taxes and is moving forward with plans to raise the minimum wage in the province.

Gotta love the right wing deadheads in Alberta. 41 years of misrule by the PCs and suddenly they are up in arms over a government that has only been in office for six months and has done nothing particularly controversial.

They chased out 20 Billion in investment and lost 35,000 + jobs, and that is just in 6 months.

Misrule? Is that why it has grown at an insane pace over those 41 years?

... Guessin' you missed the part where auntie Rachel decided that upping corp taxes in the province along with threatening higher prov royalties was a really good idea to do during a recession.

Ain't workin' out all that great right now.
