I vote for less gubmint. I vote for a party that has a chance of getting some of its candidates elected. I vote for individual liberty. (I changed the title of the thread for clarity.)

Re: Why do you vote the way you do?

I'm usually undecided until I get to the voting booth.

I usually vote conservative for fiscal responsibility, although I prefer liberal social policies, ie pro-choice. If the social issues were a threat I would go liberal but with them being pretty status quo I'll likely stay Con.

You consider voting for a party that can get elected an ideal?

Sounds kinda like the ultimate in pragmatism to me.

A party which is anti-immigration, anti-multiculturalism and diversity, anti-EU, pro-British, pro-Christian, pro-military, anti-Socialist, anti-PC and anti-Labour.

I.E: Yookip.

Honesty would be nice but that doesn't happen in politics. I would vote for one who can facilitate health, wealth and wisdom as the result of wise decisions, good planning and hard work.

there is nothing wrong with wanting to be on the winning team
its only natural
unless the subject is politics
then it makes no sense at all

what scares me is "voters" who don't get that
its almost as scary as people who vote because some invisible playmate in the sky tells them to

By today's terms, you are looking to vote for a self made 1%er.

It wouldn't kick in until fiscal 16. That means I can still take a low draw from Corporate revenue and put a far bigger down payment on new equipment to grow the Corp lowering the impact of the personal sacrifice and bite on the Mrs' income.

I vote for fiscal responsibility (not wasting money on stupid sh-it). I am liberal socially for the most part (pro-choice, pro gay marriage and equal rights) but tend to think we should just get rid of picture id if all we have is pictures of people with cloth bags over their heads. I also vote against people throwing our money away on useless schemes in the name of unproven "science" like climate change.
