A New Democrat candidate in Winnipeg has dropped out of the federal election campaign — the latest in a string of political hopefuls done in by social media comments.

Stefan Jonasson is no longer running in Charleswood—St. James—Assiniboia—Headingley after comments surfaced in which he compared the beliefs of one set of Orthodox Jews to the Taliban.

Unfortunately the dude's not wrong. There is a sect in the Jewish faith that has very similar thinking as the Taliban. Women are horribly oppressed. They're also not above acts of terrorism if it suits their purpose. There was even a recent news photo making the rounds about one of these animals running up and stabbing a woman in the back who was participating in a Pride Parade/rally. Despicable and cowardly. Pretty much sums up the Taliban too.
But hey, the Americans have their religi-tards as well. Those whacky Christian fundamentalists might as well call be called Talibaptists.
