oh dear.

As the NDP deals with their own problems of breaking House of Commons rules, the socialist party is firing back at their main nemesis, Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau.

The NDP has been ordered to repay $2.75 million over the use of satellite offices that were paid for by taxpayers but used for partisan campaigning.

They've also been ordered to repay $1.17 million for improper use of MPs mailing privileges. Stung by what they consider a witch hunt and the "kangaroo court" of the House of Commons Board of Internal Economy, the New Democrats are fighting back reports Canadian Press.
In a letter Thursday to Scheer, Windsor NDP MP Brian Masse raises "serious concerns" about a Liberal caucus meeting on Parliament Hill last June, at which Trudeau showcased recently nominated candidates.

Masse says the event violated the rules, which forbid premises provided to an MP by the Commons to be used for partisan purposes.
The Liberals have fired back, pointing to the NDP's own social media sites that show pictures of key NDP campaign operatives at NDP caucus meetings.

Liberal MP Ralph Goodale told CP that caucus meetings are by their nature partisan and do not fall under the same rules as MPs use of meeting rooms.

This latest attempt to show parties as misusing public facilities comes one day after the Liberals claimed the NDP was using an MPs constituency office for campaign purposes.

I guess the NDP and Liberals want to guarantee Harper another majority government.

The Libs are the biggest threat to the NDP losing seats in the next election... I fully expect that they will be ramping up all the rhetoric and attack ads once the time draws near.

This ain't even the beginning of what's to come

Harper getting a majority is pretty well a given, the only thing these two are fighting over is who is going to be the official opposition.

It's all about the NDP keeping the Quebec seats. Mulcair and Trudeau are both francophones and there is a good chance that the federal Liberals will scoop up the NDP's Quebec seats. The federal Conservatives are on their way out because their main support are from low population provinces and years back the Prime Minister publicly rebuked Quebec and the people of that Provence never forgot that.

Yeah... I remember you said that the last election and the one before that.

Seems to me that harper is getting a larger majority each time Quebec doesn't back-stop him.... Interesting what that says about the relationship between Quebec and the ROC
