If you can not abide by western ideals of freedom of speech you should not live in western society. You are perverting our heritage, twisting our culture, destroying our liberty.
Steyn is perfectly correct.
Please remember that the Liberal party is the party that has been elected by most Canadians for the last forty or fifty years and the country has been named time and time again, the best place in the world to live, so the Liberals can't be all bad.
There is nothing wrong with challenging an idea in court.
It is not destroying freedom of speech, challenging our values or any other such nonsense.
Especially when those values are upheld in court.
What does hinder our values is when governments decide to go overboard on anti-privacy or security measures as a disproportionate response to these events.
