They're holding a convention, trying to shed the baggage of the past, but I don't see anything to indicate they've changed their self-defeating ways. They're still pro-union, even though union membership has been declining all over the world, and they've offered no policy to promote jobs.

What do you mean? They will hire all kinds of bureaucrats and pay them top dollar and then set up another bureaucracy to ensure annual wage raises we can't afford.

The NDP is not really pro union. Just pro government employees union. They are against every thing my union depends on for jobs. THAT is why they lost the last election. They have not represented working people's unions for over a decade. They represent government workers and city socialists.
