I was a teacher at Mianyang Foreign Languages School in Sichuan Province of the People's Republic of China. After 30 days, I was discharged. I received no payment of salary, severance, or travel expense reimbursement.

Exactly who was your employer? It sounds like the BC government had organized a contract with you
