Well, the interesting thing to me was when it was pointed out that during the Hajj, the ritual pilgrimage to Mecca, it is actually a requirement that women not be veiled. So in Islam, women need not always be veiled.
Kenny`s regulation should be extended to beards, mustaches, wigs, hairpieces, hats, yamulkes, scarves, botox enhancements, facial tatoos, girdles, and various implants.

However, prohibiting the veil furthermarginalizes women who are already treated as less than equals in their owncommunities.
