BC news media protecting the Liberals agenda!

Over the past month the British Columbia news media has had articles having to do with new water metering schemes going in on the lower mainland. Any reference made to Water as a commodity and the

Alberta--The Details: The Conservative/Republican Alliance -PNWER site has not be published by any of the BC media.

And, during the past election any reference made to the same site or any linking of the BC Liberals to the Conservative organizations have not been put up.

On water as a commodity:
When Harper opens the NAFTA agreement to include water as an export, water will become a commodity throughout Canada and, he most certainly will be doing that. He changed the control of bulk water exports over to the provinces in his last time to bat. I suspect the BC Liberals who helped author this program would like to say it is all the Federal fault.

On water metering:
Water metering is necessary for a commercialized, privately owned water service when operated as a commodity for sale.

Alberta, well advanced in this is working ways to meter farmers dug outs. The farmers have all been put on notice they do not own the water in their dug outs.

BC media is totally supportive of the BC Liberals and the BC Liberals are totally supportive of turning bulk water into a commercial enterprise.

BC liberals have already started selling off all our water to private holdings through the IPPs and they will probably be the first to start selling that water south of the border. This is in keeping with their Social Discredit roots who basically gave away our forests to foreign interests through TFLs.

We are going to become tenants in our own land pretty soon, the way it is going. Water
should not be for sale or even for a trade lever.
The other thing the government is doing in BC is getting business to tell us what a great
deal the HST is. Isn't it interesting, when the companies who benefit from it advertise on
behalf of the government to convince people that the free ride for business is good for all.
I wonder if there is a conflict of interest here, this is not just a corporate opinion this is
advertising and working with government. I think it is time business paid its taxes like
everyone else. I also think it is time business taxes should not be refunded and they should
not be able to pass any tax expenses on to consumers.
Water, resourses, the right to define our own boarders, and security legislation, piece by
piece Canada is becoming marginalized. Perhaps we need a dose of heavy economic
nationalism, and the concept that Canada is for Canadians.

Canfor corp, M+B, BC forest products, Canadian pacific, Thasis co? These are your version of foreign companies that got the bulk of west coast TFLs and then there is West Fraser in the interior and a bunch more I can't even remember. All Canadian

Actually the Liberals are middle of the road with a left bent. It is only when compared to the Non Democratic Parasites that they appear to be right of center.

It will be difficult to do much bulk water exports from the coastal rivers due to fisheries concerns. Most of the fresh water is required to keep the salinity down in the estuaries for the salmon fry to grow in. Fisheries and environment ministries control the water tap.

As for Campbell and company, they are as right wing as they come, selling off crown owned corps and gutting BC Hydro and selling off parts to outsiders, gutting just about every ministry, putting logging companies in charge of the forests, trying to get rid of the social safety met, kicking people on disability off and causing about 9 suicides before they realized what a mess they were making, gutting health care making service in the interior almost impossible for the poor to get to - 4 hours for us to get to a real hospital. We won't get into screwing the homeless in Vancouver over the Olympics. Yup, really socially minded they are. The IPPs in the interior are up for wholesale damming and a collapse of the inland fishery.
