Please help~ Question about Insurance in Canada

I am a foreigner. I am very interested in Canada because the people there are very nice. Sadly, I know nothing about the Insurance in Canada and I found that was quite difficult to find the information.

Therefore, would someone tell me (with related websites, if any) more about:

(1) the Insurance history in Canada, i.e. the developement of Canada's insurance
(2) what factors make the above developement? Is it related to the cultures of Canadians?

They are thieves - Seems you have a paper to do and want someone else to do the heavy lifting - Thievery of another sort - but still thievery - Unless of course you are not researching a paper - Then the answer is Insurance in Canada has a very long history of ripping the public thru scam after scam - Capitalism

Depends on what type of insurance you want - Car, house, etc. And where you are going to live - could you be more specific?

Why do you care about insurance? What an odd question. Sorry - I'm not trying to insult you but unless you have a medical condition that you want to know whether or not our country will pay for, why would you ask the question?

it is really sad to see the criticism......

so, what is the problems of sending some links for references?

i found that the canada's government required to pay for the report.......and it is really difficult to locate the resources in a library!!!

but the general information about the history of canada is fine, no need to go in specific.
