I thought I'd give everyone a run down on what tags are and how we're supposed to use them. It's really simple actually and it will give us users more management of threads and an easier way to organise and sort information on the forums.
Firstly, they're pretty much an evolution of Web 2.0 and have become popular among many other types of site. Social networks are full of them and I'm sure most have already used them before.
Here's what you do: Just tag your threads or other people's threads and it basically gives us keywords to sort and find information and other threads. From within a thread that's tagged, IE, "Israel", you can click the thread and find others which have the same tags.

I put up a topic that seems to be invisible. I attempted to tag it science fiction but for some reason I capitalized both words so the topic is under both science and fiction.
Forgot to mention, I will be working on the layout and design of the tagging system in the days to come. There's also some minor bugs I will work out.

You might wanna try "science-fiction" instead. It takes each word and uses it, so I believe hyphenation is the way to go.
