hi guys i'm a newcomer i'm dentist, i'm married ,one kid, living in toronto, i need to study and pass some tests then go to university for couple years to get a licience, the life expenses are so expensive here in toronto , and hard to find a nice job here because of the language , the only jobs i got were in labour , high rate of competion and long distaces to go esp i don't have a car right now,it was hard 4 me to work in labour and study at the same or kind of imopssible, anyway i'm thinking to move by myself out of ontario to find a job (doesn't require alot of physical effort like carrying heavy weights) and affordable place to live so i can work and study and if everything goes along so my wife and kid gonna follow me , so any ideas and thanx alot guys and which area is good 4 me to start there? and is easy to find an entry level job in victoria?

Hi there, and welcome to CC. Unfortunately, it's been more than a few years since I lived in Victoria, so I can't provide you with any of the answers you're looking for. We do have a few folks here from there, they might be able to answer some of those questions for you. I imagine it will be a difficult decision if you have to leave your family behind... I hope it doesn't come to that for you.

the irony. I had a tooth pulled today.

Why do you want to go all the way to Victoria? Why not somewhere closer?

Your english isn't that bad. Have you considered some type of entry level clerk job?

Thanks guys for responses, i suggested victoria but if u have some opinions about where to start from so plz i'm listening, and the reason i'm thinking about bitish columbia cos its amazing wilds and nature ad ontario is a more expensive and i want to get away from some negative people its like a start over , i wasted enough time so i want to go forward now, so plz i'm waiting for more responses cos i need to move in mone week Thanks u all

If it were me, and I had a kid, and wanted a community I could afford, I'd head to Prince George! The University is a good one, you can afford to live, and the wildlife is incredible! My sis lives up there, what I like about the town is it's community spirit.... I like it!
I don't live there because I love being on the Island, and never want to move off her.

You could do a lot worse overall....

Go to Ottawa. It's closer. I don't know about cheaper, though. Lots of work here too.

i want to thank u all guys, north boy a name of a dentist would be wonderful and more that i expected, now i don't need to go to college or university all i need to fid a job and study home for a year or tow then go to college ,linderdirty is it easy to get a job i prince george especially it look like a freezing area,,,,,,,,, Said1 may be its sily question but siad there r alot ofjobs in ottawa so r they i diffrient fields and can u recommend something plz and ....................thanks again
