Important, its the cushy pensions they set up for themselves, through the back door Carol James is a traitor, thats my story and I am sticking to it. Makes me sick how she and that number one bastard made all patti cakes for a cash grab. Wow! our first disagreement

Well you know she is a sort of new to all this and that is no excuse. But at least she admitted her error. Hopefully she learns from it. But I admit it was a big faux pas.

What fun would it be if we all agreed on everything all the time?

Campbell should resign for many reasons.

How could you make that mistake? "Oops, I didn't mean to vote yes for my pay raise"??? Can you explain how anyone not comatose could make that mistake? Or does she, like the Premier, assume everyone is stupid? That's on the level of Svend Robinson trying to pretend he didn't mean to steal the jewelry. Which you notice he didn't claim. Because he knew no one would believe that crap. At least he came up with a creative excuse. He was under stress. So it's okay to steal. That's creative. Sorry, I didn't mean to vote myself a raise isn't creative, it's "uh oh, I got caught...better say something quick".

That's a pretty lame excuse. She should be ashamed to even say it with a straight face.

Ahh just a few short weeks ago I had a conversation with my local MP. I recall him telling me how there was no money in the budget for increases in salaries or benefits for anyone. And I don't believe this Bill was drafted overnight, so I now know my MP is liar, a cheat and most definitely a pig a trough. Man I remember that part of our conversation vividly. I should really go introduce myself so we can continue our discussion. snicker snicker snicker. "Wee wee wee" all the way home is how that pig would sound running all the way home.

Quoting
One thing you don't seem to notice is that as an MLA, you are expected to be available 24 hr/day, 7 days/week, 365.25 days/year, at all functions, and be willing to take the abuse of every single person who wants to give it to you. And to subject your family to the same scrutiny.

Personally, you couldn't pay me enough to do that crap.
It's a thankless job.
So how often does an MLA wake up at 3am because of their job responsibilities? And I'd expect them to take the abuse for making false promises all the time.
