Perhaps it is just me, but none of the links work. Too bad, I love seeing things like this. For birthdays, instead of a card, I usually get those "The Year You Were Born" booklets from Hallmark. They are really neat to look through, everyone always gets a kick out of them.

I don't understand why. They all work for me. You clicked on a year and got the jukebox right? Then inside the jukebox there are song names and beside them there is an un/down arrow to scroll through and choose songs. They all work on this site for me.

Vanisle, unfortunately, the links you provided did not work for me.

The link provided by rufus did, but I stopped listening to anything after 1964, when rock and roll died.

I switched to classical music, and no regrets.

Read this and weep:

"The switch to classical was a safe bet for you yuckon, anyway 1964n was the bit=rth of R&R WITH THE aNIMAL UNT THE YARDBIRDS i CAN'T BLAME YOU FOR STOPPING THER LISTENING AFTER 64."

And this rodent, pretending to be human has the nerve to call my post on another thread "drivel"? Drunk or otherwise?

Would it be too much to accept the (sorta) compliment and move on? Are you really that bitter?

If I had detected any normalcy in the post I quoted, I would have moved on.
If the post I quoted had any coherence, I would have moved on.
If I had detected any compliment in the post I quoted, I would have moved on.
If I had any idea what the hell the poster meant, I would have moved on.
If there had been a single word without a spelling error, I would have moved on.
If I could have fought my way thru the grammatical and spelling errors, I would have moved on.

I think I was actually quite sweet - and not at all bitter - not to be more realistically describe the nonsense I quoted.

Whatever. We listen to just about anything around here. No rap/hiphop though. Both of us agree that it isn't really music, just noise art. Can't understand the poetry very easily and sometimes when we can make out a word it is pretty foul. We like Latin and Spanish, Classical, old rock, new rock, jazz, Irish, native, etc. Not much country and western stuff either. It has two themes, whining and loving. Gets tedious after a while.

L Gilbert, any moment now, you can expect being called a vicious, hate-mongering racist for the simple reason that you do not adore rap/hiphop.
