If you lot in Canada have never seen the BBC gameshow Pointless, in which the aim of the game is to get LESS points than your opponents (so contestants need to try and find more obscure answers to questions), then you are missing out in a big way. It is one of the best shows on TV and, like that other great BBC quiz show, QI, you learn things when watching it (unlike a lot of gameshows).

And Pointless's two hosts - Alexander Armstrong (directly descended from William the Conqueror, apparently) and brainbox Richard Osman (the brother of Suede bassist Mat Osman) could easily have ended up in that list of top 50 great British double acts.

Also I used to like The Two Ronnies.

Same here! They were hilarious. Ronnie Corbett had a special on where he talked to other comedians in Britain. It was really good. He is such a nice man. Can't remember what it was called though.

I use to watch "on the buses" with my dad. Can't say if the show was good but the nostalgic factor is fairly high for me.

Their best sketch was the Four Candles sketch, but I can't post the video on here at the moment because there is something wrong with this forum tonight.

When you post the youtube video, your links say https:/..... Take out the s and make it http:/ and it will be fine. This forum cannot handle the https links but can the http ones.

They usually work just fine the way I post them.

And I've now noticed that the videos have appeared, whereas they weren't there yesterday. Or, at least, I didn't see them.

I think Locutus has been following you around and correcting some of your posts so that is probably why some are ok today.
