Fun fact: Joe was played by Ukranian-born Michael Zenon. He wore a black wig to hide his blond hair. He actually did climb the 100 ft. Widdifield Fire Tower in North Bay for an episode of the show. I thought he was the coolest guy on the show when I was a kid.

I think he a bad day once too:

more fun stuff bout Zenon.

I always thought Pinset was a bloated phoney, and all of his acting has given me no reason to change my mind. He played the mountie. Still does in some other thing or other. Only on CBC folks.

All our buddies used to gather in front of the t.v. in the local pub, play with our toy soldiers, and watch Forest Rangers. We were in our twenties so it was legal.

great stuff eh!!
