California-based Russell Powell takes finger painting to another level with these celebrity portraits created using his hands.
The young artist is able to paint incredibly detailed portraits on the palm of his left hand, before stamping it on a paper canvas to create a permanent imprint of the artwork.
Powell calls the process ‘hand-stamping’; “The handstamps are a technique I started about a year ago just experimenting after painting my students faces.”
