Edmonton police have issued a warning about a sexually violent offender who has been released and will be living in the city.
Leon Halkett, 31, has preyed on random women, as well as women he has been in a relationship with, according to a release.
EPS is seeking a recognizance order on Halkett and add that he will be closely monitored by the Behavioral Assessment Unit.
This information is being released, despite privacy concerns, because police believe that it is in the public interest.
