Two local entrepreneurs are filling a need by filling bottles with fresh air from the Alberta Rockies and selling them worldwide.
Business partners and cofounders of Vitality Air, Troy Paquette, 37, and Moses Lam, 30 stumbled across the idea of selling bottles of compressed air from Banff when they first tried to sell a Ziploc bag of air on eBay.
"The first one went for only 99 cents but then the second went for $168," said Lam.
Since beginning operations in November 2014, the company averages sales of 300 bottles per month. Lam says the company's main clients include buyers from China, Israel, Turkey, India, Dubai, and in areas of the world where the air quality is low --the company has also sold a bottle to one customer in Calgary.
A bottle of fresh Banff air goes for $15 a pop and contains at least 150 inhalations worth of air, though Lam says they have field tested bottles that exceed 200 inhalations.
But how exactly do they get the air in the bottle?
"That's sort of our trade secret, but I can assure you we don't just sit outside and wave our hands in the air. It's a tedious process, we're out there for roughly 10 hours capturing air," said Lam, adding the fresh air is brought back in bulk and then bottled individually whenever a purchase is confirmed.
The company also sells bottled oxygen, a product which has proven popular with athletes.
"Whether you're training, or doing yoga, it helps to give you that extra jolt," said Lam.

Yes... Banff is world renown for the vast volumes of oil that flows readily from the rocks and rivers... Also well known for having 3 major refineries on every hectare of land throughout the park.

It's quite a wonder, really

That's because everybody knows oil always present and is the easiest to extract from mountainous terrains -- just look at all those middle eastern mountains. And easy transportation along mountainous roads makes it an ideal location for refineries.

"Do you want some air from Alberta?"

"No. Not even if she's had colonic irrigation."

Prince Alberta was gay. Alberta was Canada's way of outting him.

Alberta is named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta (18 March 1848 – 3 December 1939), the fourth daughter of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert and the great-great-aunt of Queen Elizabeth II.

Hey, I've had the pleasure of judging 3 drag shows. I had a blast. Give it a try, you can meet tranny hookers straight up without unknowingly picking them up on the streets and getting a hummer.
